Baywatch star Michael Newman has died at the age of 68. Only David Hasselhoff, who played Mitch Buchannon, and Jeremy Jackson, who played Mitch's son Hobie, appeared in more episodes than Newman. His death came eight years after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. |

Scottish comedian Janey Godley has died at the age of 63. She had been receiving palliative care after living for a number of years with ovarian cancer, which forced her to cancel her 'Why Is She Still Here?' tour in September. Ms Godley was perhaps best known for her viral dubbed videos of Nicola Sturgeon's Covid briefings during the pandemic and her protest against Donald Trump's 2016 visit to Scotland. |
