Meanwhile from Flickr, 37391 now has route branding for the 471, 66875 has received the new livery, while it looks like 69523 may also get the new livery, maybe route branding for the 582 perhaps. http://www.flickr.com/photos/m920/7857943018/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/46868364@N04/7850614924/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/46868364@N04/7850614002/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/46868364@N04/7857500748/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/46868364@N04/7857499388/ |

RE: First Manchester
Not surprising the news regarding the citaro's at Bury, seems to be a jinxed fleet. Interesting idea sending BY scanias back to where it all started for them, and at last BY gets shut of 34291/4/34028 hopefully |

RE: First Manchester
Was just wondering Bury are to loose two citaros initally, to OM. Yet the present allocation changes only show 4 B7s from Oldham coming in. But if I'am to understand this correctly over time, nearly all the citaro fleet, if not all will transfer to Oldham Depot, back to where it all began for them, or even other depots maybe? cant see it though, think they will all end up at OM. Only thing is Id love to know what's likely to replace them long term. I can say the people of Bury will not miss these buses, not a day goes by I dont see a letter in the Bury Times Bury Journal, slagging them off. One thing is for certain, its a good move, taking them out of Bury, as First Depot's go it works with one of the smallest budgets, and as has been previously posted, they are very expensive to Run. One thing to be said though, they are not in good condition inside, a shadow of the buses they used to be. Personally though I use them everyday and will miss them. |

RE: First Manchester
Just to put people out of their misery, VF isn't a depot code whatsoever, it actually means 2 vehicles for Vehicle Familirisation as quite a number of drivers at Oldham Depot wouldn't have driven a Citaro before, some of the older drivers will remember them and have stories of when they were originally here and probably won't need training on them or they might need a quick refresh, just a shame that they had when all of them were at Oldham they had their PA systems took out as not to sure whether people know or remember but when the Citaroes were new at Oldham Depot they all had microphones fitted into the cab connected to speakers on the bus |

Andrew do you know or think its the whole fleet of citaros to OM, It says 20 but I'am not sure how many are still in service |

RE: First Manchester
Looked at the fleet movement list and it says that Pioneer are to gain a dart from OM, well guessing that 40436 would be the dart as its recently been fitted with an LED display |
