To be fair buses would have been all over the place this morning due to the incident at the tunnel , so this may well have just been thrown out to help matters rather than a normal service.

I've noticed the Sunday 423 has mostly hybrid deckers allocated, is this just the run up until Christmas?

Its quite common to find a hybrid majority on the sunday 423s all year round, also on the 410/411s because there are plenty spare. Not always the case though, it depends who has been allocating the buses in the morning as to what ends up where.

4106 has been off the road for a few weeks as its been troublesome again, it's in for MOT next week I believe. No news on 4100, it's still sat there. Rumour of 4107 coming to replace 4103 - not sure why as 4103 has been earning its keep most days lately.

4106 seems to be more trouble than it's worth,4103 was on 437 on Friday, a good bus to be on when it's cold because it's lovely and warm,was on it the other week.

423 is one of my local routes, i see Pulsas most of the time on it, very rare i see a decker on the 423.

Maybe I don't drive them as often as I thought, every time I've done them on a Sunday lately have had hybrids both half's, saying that it's been a while!
