Diamond Bus North West
RE: Diamond Bus North West
Did spot a Yourbus Citaro vehicle travelling on the M60 through Hollinwood/Oldham this afternoon at around 5.45pm heading towards Bury (and presumably onto Bolton).

Here's shots of 33030 & 33032 from last night not too far from Tividale, WM:

RE: Diamond Bus North West
Are the other 2 Citaros that Rotala own (30019 & 30030) still coming to Bolton?

30030 is already here and has been for some weeks, generally it operates as an extra on 582's or operates former Atherton depot services but not exclusively.

Here is a picture of said vehicle, taken from flickr, it has since had its destination made working and has been given Diamond logo's

In addition to this a Preston Bus Citaro was noted on loan in Leigh Bus Station yesterday but couldn't identify the vehicle as it was too far away. Presumably a loan.

RE: Diamond Bus North West
Thanks for that darylyates17, wonder what the possibility of more Yourbus vehicles turning up as further Enviro Enviro200's both of the original version and the MMC version still remain at Yourbus, although presumably it will depend on the lease arrangements? Also at Yourbus were Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches that were almost new, but presume there is no need for these within Diamond North West, unless they head off to the Hallmark opps at Heathrow but again depends on the lease agreements I guess.

The Solo's you list above are actually acquisitions or long term loans rather than short loans and have been here for quite a number of weeks, indeed at least two of them entered service from Atherton depot. They have Diamond North West legals in the side windows.

I personally wouldn’t be surprised if the 13 plate Citaros end up being acquired as well if they’ve not been purchased by anyone.

30030 is actually painted in new Preston Bus base livery (revised scheme from Omnilinks 30116-8)

The Diamond logo's are existing prior to repaint.

It'd make sense but I suppose we'll have to wait and see what happens
