I'm so pleased that the Sunday tours are working out well. Hats off to all involved. Southport needs open top tours & the holiday makers love it and not just because it's free as the collection boxes go to show.

A few shots from today's MTT open top tours...well worth catching if you have the chance. My daughter & me were on the 12.00 tour with 1449 and enjoyed it very much, thanks to all involved in running them!

RE: Merseyside Transport Trust
Quite disappointed there no mention of the Runing Day souvenir programme yet on MTT site for the Running Day, i know they don't print & send the programme until the week of the Running Day but you can normally order one in advance.

BTW if it's possible i'd love to see the old 72 operating, it followed the 4 & 5 down Menlove Avenue, but carried straight on where the 4 & 5 turn on to Woolton Road, so can divert to LSP.

Rest assured that programmes will be available in advance again this year very shortly.
Anyone who wants one can order one from:
Merseyside Transport Trust,
3 Sunflower Close,
Bold,
St Helens,
Lancashire,
WA9 4ZT
And it is still the recession busing price of £5!

Something, something, something Dart Side...
