Reported elsewhere that 4 Gillmoss vehicles are down in Exeter at the moment to help out for concerts at Powderham Castle this week (same place as 10534-10538 went to about a year back for the Radio 1 event), 10822 is one of them, I'm assuming the others are also MMC's?

10823, 10824 also arrived at Exeter, 10839 from Rock Ferry expected as well, concerts are Bryan Adams one night and Little Mix the next.

Delivered to Gillmoss today were about 5/6 Enviro400 Hybrids from Stagecoach Manchester which will be on loan for the Open Golf at Birkdale.

Excellent, was expecting it to be solid MMC's at 'The Open' (well, I'm assuming they're for that) but a good bit of variety to look out for!

The Enviro400Hs all had The Open adverts on them yesterday (fitted pretty quickly as the came with normal ads) as do quite a few of the Enviro400MMCs so I expect it'll be primarily these two types at The Open.

The three Chester Enviro200s, various Trident/ALX400s, three Dart SLF/Pointer 2s (including 34743) and the two Scania/ELC Esteems are all marked "For use on The Open" but I don't know if these are actually going to The Open or to be used on Gillmoss services while our own buses are at The Open.

I remember the 2014 'Open' at Hoylake saw two brand new Solo's for Preston (47922/3) and 3 Enviro200's also for Preston (37127-9) used on the press shuttles, also 27901-3 turned up at the end of the week, as did several of the PX59*** Scania's from Preston/Chorley, should be an interesting few days, unfortunately I can only get up on the Friday due to work....
