Not being funny but why would drivers know about whats happening in the maintenance area as its nothing to do with them. unless 2400 is unviable to put on the road i cant see them removing its engine and getting rid of it. if the bus was knackerd then fair enough like Speke did with 3609 after it had a fire inside the bus they used its engine to put 3612 back on the road |

Buses don't get taken off the road simply because they have something wrong in the engine/gearbox area of things - take Dennis Arrow S454SLL at First Manchester - Chassis rot led to it being taken off the road this year, yet mechanically in the back it performed like a dream! What reasoning is behind this? Re 2558/9 and i must say 2450 returning would be excellent news especially if it went on the 362/360 quite often id start buying Arriva day tickets again its a Very nippy bus with good legroom and well padded seats although last time i was on it it had racist graffiti on the seat backs near the rear of the bus. |
