Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association with 74 alleged rule breaches related to payments to agents between 2009 and 2022. The charges are primarily foused on transfers particually that occurred between the 2010-11 and 2015-16 seasons. The club may be potentially hit with a fine, transfer embargo, and points deduction. However due to the clubs co-operation (as they reported the rule breaches themselves) they may not be expected to be hit with a sporting sanction. |

I'm not gonna post this in the Celebrity Deaths section. Liverpool F.C. have announced the death of former WSL manager Matt Beard, he was aged 48. RIP. |

Non-league team Macclesfield produce the greatest FA Cup upset, knocking out Premier League team (and defending holders) Crystal Palace in a 2-1 victory. The victory for the National League North club comes 25 days after Ethan McLeod, a forward for the club was killed in a traffic collision whilst returning from a NLN fixture against Bedford Town. As well as that, yesterday would've marked 5 years since local side Marine A.F.C. (who at the time were in Division One West of the Northern Premier League) took on Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the F.A. Cup in which the visitors won 0-5. |
