A rather eventful weekend;
The Wensleydale Railway's annual beer festival. Starring should be 37409 and a Class 66 from DRS, before 37409 is either withdrawn completely or goes in for it's yet to be authorised 'F' exam. Also operating over the weekend are the based Class 14 D9523, 20166, 47715, Steam 69023 "Joem", a DMU and a bubble car.

Also the South Devon Railway are having a 1960's themed operating weekend using Class 09 D3721 (09010), Class 25 D7612 (25262), Class 37 D6975 (37275). As well as Steam loco's - GWR "Prarie" Tanks 5526 and 5542.

The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway will also be having a running weekend using Class 04 D2203, Class 14 D9513 and 37294. Steam loco's also featuring GWR Tank No. 5643, NCB No. 35 "Norman" and NCB No. 7 "Beatrice".

Finally on Bank Holiday Monday, the Epping & Ongar Railway will have passenger trains in operation being hauled by 20001 and 33002.

On Friday 13th to Sunday 15th October, the Nene Valley Railway are hosting a 60 Years of the Class 31 Anniversary Gala. 7 class members have already been announced that should be starring they are No.s 31101, 31108, 31162, 31271, 31285, 31452 and 31466.

This weekend - WHAT'S ON Guide!
Saturday 3rd / Sunday 4th June 2017

Nene Valley Railway
A special 40th anniversary gala takes place. Featuring a Class 14, 31271 and 55022. As well as Steam HC 1800/1947 "Thomas", 34081 "92 Squadron" and 46100 "Royal Scot".

Peak Rail
The heritage shunters trust are having a running day on Saturday. Featuring should be D2953, D2854, 03099, D2139, 07001, 08016, 09001, PWM654 and the return of D2284 making it's debut on the line following long restoration.

East Lancashire Railway
A small engines gala takes place. Using Home Fleet D2062, 08164, 09024, D9531, D9537. Home Fleet steam in use will be No. 32 "Gothenburg" and L & Y 'A Class' 12322.

3 visitors are confirmed. These being D2298 from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, D9551 from the Severn Valley Railway and Steam GWR 0-6-0 No. 813.

The East Lancashire Railway have confirmed 5 visitors for their gala next month, these are 25279, 47192, 47712, 56006 and a Colas 60!

This weekend - WHAT'S ON Guide!
Friday 9th to Sunday 11th June 2017

North Norfolk Railway
A diesel gala is taking place on Friday and Saturday. Featuring are Class 11 No. 12131 on it's last outing before heavy overhaul. London Transport liveried 20142 and 20227. Peaks Class 44 No. D8, 45133 and Class 46 No. D182. The Class 101 DMU is also operating as well as special guests from DRS 37218 and 37605.

West Somerset Railway
A diesel gala also taking place during the 3 days. In use this weekend will be home fleet Class 33 No. D6575 (33057), Class 35 "Hymek" No. D7017, Class 52 "Western" No. D1010 and Class 47 No. D1661 (47840). Visiting are 20059 and 20188 from the Severn Valley as well as 26043 from the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway. Freight trains also operating for those keen photographers!

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway
20031 and 37075 will be working some services on Saturday.
