Anyone kindly provide an updated one The current fleetlist is almost up-to-date. Only differences are: - buses #6 and #10 no longer have branding for Widnes Vikings. - #71 - 79 are reinstated. - #34 is back in standard livery RE: Halton Transport - K853 MTJ - 03/10/2012 21:56 Been without a computer recently so Im left using my phone. Hazards on going no more than 20mph down Liverpool Road. Engine was just a roar similar to if the fan was on full blast, but it was much louder than that (somewhat similar to a street sweeper!). Nothing on dests to indicate what its been on. RE: Halton Transport - Raawwwrrr! - 02/11/2012 17:33 (02/11/2012 16:57)K853 MTJ Wrote: Bus 71 has just passed me sounding utterly dreadful. Nothing on dests to indicate what its been on. It's got a gearbox problem where it slips gears and bangs into first after it has stopped. It has difficulty getting out of first gear and is quite slow in first or second, but once it gets going the problems sort themselves out (until you stop again!) RE: Halton Transport - K853 MTJ - 02/11/2012 19:50 Yeah, it did that when I went on it over to Runcorn on the 62, struggled up the hill by the Grange school, however it was a very nice ride once it got going, not to mention barring the faded seats it is absolutely flawless inside. But it wasn't like it was stuck in first when it went past me, the engine didnt seem to be revving much at all, not that it was easy to hear over the roaring sound. There was something very wrong with it. Plus, the fact it had hazards on and the fact it was a fair way down Liverpool Rd from the junction it would have last stopped at suggests it was a prolonged problem and not just a case of it struggling to engage gear. |
