In regards to what the 9 interworks with, I'm not to sure I haven't really studied it in close detail but it doesn't work onto a 2 that's what I do know. I also have a soft spot for #20, and hope to see it continue for a while longer. Re the services it's been used on, and thinking back to when I first moved to Liverpool - was there also an 801 variation of the 201 service? I seem to recall an unusual pattern like three journeys on weekdays, but five on Sundays, of which the additional two were 801s, is that right? I think the only service that I've never seen #20 on is the 61. Has anyone ever noted it on there? Mon - Fri it would cover the 203. Saturdays it would cover the 201. Sundays it would usually be found on the 161. 201 was Liverpool Royal Hospital to Speke Western Ave (Now Morrisons) 203 was Hale Village to Broad Green (1RJ) or Alder Hey Hosptial (1RJ) via Bellevale and Halewood. 801 was Liverpool Royal Hospital to Springwood Cemetery. Personally I'm aware it has operated a 61A (Widnes - Huyton) and the 161 (Rainhill to Liverpool) but I've never heard it do the full 61A Liverpool to Murdishaw or the full Warrington Variation of the 62. RE: Halton Transport - Lynx - 22/12/2015 15:13 I noted it do a full 61 about 3 years ago but I've not seen it on the 61/a since. I noted it doing a late 62 that terminated at Moore once but I to have never seen it do a full Warrington 62. I travelled on it from Queen Square to Childwall Five Ways. The wife thought it sounded like a slow burning firework. RE: Halton Transport - Scania1996 - 05/01/2016 09:17 I must admit it did sound rough, I think the turbo was blowing RE: Halton Transport - Lynx - 06/01/2016 18:29 (05/01/2016 09:17)Scania1996 Wrote: I must admit it did sound rough, I think the turbo was blowing It's the same with all of them, quite often mistake them for a road sweeper when there not sight. There in a decent condition inside but they are really showing their age now externally. |
