Just seen it today, maybe it and the Dart are having a much deserved break?

It's still at Chester yes I've just seen it on a 12 sadly not able to go it as I'm getting the last of Wrexhams Enviro 400s done today
According to the Quack77 fleet list 2720 has been withdrawn that leaves just 2728 at Chester and 2730 at St Helens I will miss the B10s a lot as I really like them a lot
I had 2730 out on me late tonight while on the 32/32A and still a cracking bus.

Be sad to see it go one of the best B10s in the fleet but the fan on it is getting very loud on it like 2715 did

It’s engine sounded awful this morning, really rough and there was a noise of clothes ripping though obviously nothing to do with clothes as its a bus. Also an intermittent bonging racket started at the driver.

The coolant fan kicks in straight away and the bonging is the temp light as think it as a slight fault on the gauge that sets it off every so ofyen but for a "Y" plate bus it still drives better than some of the pulsars.

Thanks for that mm
It was ok but nowhere near as good as last time I caught it. A few week have passed though since then. As you say though there are worse buses out there particularly a number of Pulsars.

Is it because its nowhere near technologically advanced as modern buses i.e no computers interfering and and no speed restrictions to hold it back?

Having been on it both today and yesterday its denfinetly not as good as it was (still good though) it must be coming to the end now as its the only only B10 left in St Helens and Chesters B10 is probably the same im making the most of it before it goes as B10s are my lifelong favorite and i will miss them like mad

The Dart's are my personal fave and 849 has just been withdrawn, I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms! 2728 is the only decent bus left at Chester now and when it goes it will be the end of a VERY good era!
