2728 has been out in Chester on the 12 on at least Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Has there been any updates on the withdrawn and Pool Renown's as I haven't heard anything for a while I'm presume all 3 remaining in service (2720,2728 & 2730) are still going as I saw 2730 in Earlestown last Friday.
2728 still going strong on the 12 in Chester today.
2720 (on the 37) and 2730 (on the 34) still working in St. Helens today (25 Oct.).
Had 2 rides on 2720 (Home to St. Helens, and return some hours later) and it seemed in very good condition - be sad to see them go.

Not just the last good Volvo's but possibly one of the last old school buses built and one of the best ever made in the UK, I will miss them for sure they are beasts no other bus in the fleet comes close.

The Dennis Dart is the one that comes closest in my opinion.
2728 (Y728KNF) just pulled over outside my house with it's hazard lights on and the driver looking underneath it. An optare solo came to get it's passengers and an engineer drove it away in a cautious manner.

As ive just said in the Chester thread it sounds like its failed if its not fixable then ANW/ABW might be down to just the 2 remaining Renowns in St Helen's

which would be a shame seeing as they are one of the best buses in the UK.
