is fairly clear that Preston Bus have responded to the tender, but no decision has been made.
Scania N230UD/ADL Enviro400s 15742 and 15751 are reported at Preston now for repaint.
The stagecoach website (and LCC) indicate that stagecoach will continue to operate the 113 after 7th January.
ADL Enviro400 19040 (and another as yet unconfirmed Enviro400) are now transferred here from Gillmoss.

Are these to replace 15563/64?
Returned home then.

Are you saying that 15563/64 have returned to Preston?
If you are referring to 19040 its original home was North East where it was new to.
19040.The batch 19024 to 19045 were sent to the North East for their first 6 months then to Preston where they were ordered for. So, for the sake of sounding pedantic, it was 19040 I was referring to going back home. As an aside these would have been registered in the PX56 xxx range had they been delivered directly- back in the days operators registered buses but Perth must have seen otherwise.
Preston only ever had 19031-45 from the North East.

Looking at the mis-match of body numbers and the SN regs (which tend to be an ADL staple), I'd suggest that ADL registered this batch in order to speed up delivered to Busways.
