E400MMCs 10463 (Stagecoach East), 10751 (Stagecoach West), 11707 (Stagecoach Yorkshire), 11772/4 (Stagecoach North East) and as mentioned 15323 (Stagecoach South East) are all on loan due to the upcoming extensions to service 111 at both ends of the service. Currently 10463/751/15323 are working out of Preston and 11707/772/4 are working out of Carlise and will move down to Preston when the changes commence
For anyone interested, two of Preston's loans, 10751 & 15323 are down to work on the X2 all day, usual bustimes disclaimer of course.
What's going to happen with the X2 as part of franchising, given it's effectively Preston to Southport (a cross-boundary service), then Southport to Liverpool (a Merseyside service)?

Not sure anyone knows (publically at least...), could continue under the permit system, or just run to Southport. My guess is the first with it continuing as now, as Stagecoach Rock Ferry is to still run the 1/X1 under permit.....with more than half of those routes within the LCRCA area.
