It was new to chorley depot in 2004 for the 125/126 routes. When these routes got new scania enviro 400,s in 2009 it was transfered to preston depot. With the arrival of the gold deckers to chorley the scanias moved to preston, and 18157 was transfered out. Not sure where it went, nice to see it again though.
It had been to Gilmoss Chorley among other depots.

How badly damaged is 15473? The Wrights Steetdeck which was replacing it has ended up rather suddenly doing a demo in the Isle of Man.
It was pretty badly damaged. That was a while back now so could well be fixed.
Streetdeck was never replacing the damaged enviro
It is as you say only a demo vehicle

Beat me to it it was always only a demo for 471/2 and X2 in comparison to the Enviro400

From what I gather the StreetDeck didn't overly impress. I can't see the Scanias on the X2 being replaced any time soon.
