I can assure that is incorrect; the press release, order list and even the BBP Handbook make no mention of any 'old' ADL Enviro400s.
Ferryhill Motors Fm33 SJ09GDV is operating out of Preston today on the 9s.

Last Saturday I saw one of the Penwortham 3-branded Enviro300s heading north on the M6 on a low-loader. As I was travelling in the opposite direction, I was unable to identify it but I assume FM33 is a loan pending accident repairs (it is Ferrymill Motors btw).
Sorry about that. That's what I meant- bit of a typographical error posting on my Windows phone.

So, looks like the new Gold buses will be based at Preston for the 125 route then.

Agreed, fingers crossed for no job losses.
Preston, really? Is there room for an extra 35+ vehicles inside selborne street?
Enviro400 Golds for 125 will be September/October, following on from those for Cumbria.
October for the Enviro300 Gold
November/December for Gillmoss' Enviro300s.
Out of interest how official is this news that Chorley is due to close in September and where has the info come from
It has been confirmed on Twitter that the current 125 fleet are going to be operating Prestons 68 once the new GOLD buses come.
