34814 is currently working out of Preston on the 2A today!
15466 was on the 2X2 yesterday freshly repainted and totally devoid of any route branding. Another forum suggests all of this batch 15466-15474 are visiting Coach and Bus World in Blackburn for refreshment prior to a brand new batch of buses arriving for the route.
You would think so wouldn't you, these are 5 years old now so probably due a change for the route as well as being due a repaint.
One assumes new high-specification Scanias with Wi-Fi will be the future for the X2. I just hope they go for the coach seats like the existing ones have rather than the high-back Praticos the Blackburn/Blackpool Scanias have.

They should be, as I heard that 2X2 is going Gold.
That would make sense to go gold as it is such a long route, would make for a nice journey if you were doing it.
hope not Scania Enviro400 not a fan must be better Enviro400 they can get if they even get Enviro400's
If its Gold Andy, for stagecoach it will be an Enviro400, and more than likely Scania.
Aren't all the Stagecoach Gold deckers Scania/Enviro400s? Seems a dead cert either way given the length, which sounds good to me as they're great buses.

Really hope this does play out, and show Arriva what should be done to their 47/48 route - Sapphire treatment!
I was only thinking the other day that the Scanias at Chrorley used on the 125 are coming up to 5 years old too and maybe these are due replacement? The 04reg Tridents previously used were replaced after 5 years.
