I had a big surprise last Friday, September 2nd. I rode 387 118 from Peckham Rye to Blackfriars. This is the first I knew of a 387 operating away from Bedford - Brighton services, although I knew they would transfer to Great Northern services eventually.
They are rostered to the route.
700023 arrived at Three Bridges Depot yesterday. 31 sets have now arrived.
There are now 15 x Class 700 in service. These are :-
700002/0308/19
700102-04/107-114
I'm not sure whether it has already been reported on yahoo.

Not exactly new trains as the 387/1 are/have been in service on Thameslink.

That was yesterday. Today 387120 is on the diagram.
700002 was reported as failed at Redhill yesterday. There wasa door problem and passengers could not get off the train for 15 minutes.
There are now just eight Class 319s remaining in Thameslink livery. These are 319370/81/84/85/451/52/53/54. 319450 is currently at Wolverton being refreshed.
