I've read that there are various charges against express motors most recent 7 people being charged with fraud, i think until then they were to be allowed to re-open, arriva bangor drivers have been told contracts that they have gained are not temporary contracts

Express Motors would have lost repute anyway with the TC and Gwynedd County Council anyway, surely a new licence will not have the disc authorsation to cover much? Who said ARRIVA will not also operate some major work like service 1 commerically.
I guess time is fast running and and we will soon see in the New Year.
I did get a suggestion from a local enthusiast that 2801/02 were about to be pulled out of reserve at Wrexham and Bangor bound and both 998/9 are expected to move too, fact or fiction?

Hoping it's not tomorrow. I was going to take a ride to Wrexham to see 998's new colours tomorrow.
Quick question was 679 originally alongside 676-680 at St Helens like 711 at Wrexham or were they ordered somewhere else originally
679 has never been at St Helens. Could be wrong but I think the whole were originally at Wythenshawe and possibly even Manchester City Centre when that depot was open.

669/670 where new to Wythenshawe and they then came to Wrexham and then got sent for P&P before moving to Birkenhead to replace the MPDs for the 175, they have then recently moved back to Wrexham to replace the Cadets!

Ok thanks a lot for that
Update: Ive decided that I am still going to come to Bangor at some point (like I did at Wrexham for 711) to get 679 seeing as 676-680 were all together originally what route is it most likely to turn up on

They did spend a few years at Wythenshawe - mainly being used on the Stockport Metroshuttle 300 - but I *think* they were actually new to Manchester, along with the rest of the CX57 batch - all ten being originally used on tendered services around the Eccles/Salford area.
