Sorry normally there is a lot more deckers when Olympians are on but looking back last year the 4's and 62's were mainly cadets. So apologies Chris

When I went to Llandudno back on 8th July I saw 14 of the 'new' Pulsar 2s on the 5/X5. The first I saw was the 1030 departure from Llandudno and it returned on the 1300 departure. There were no other buses on the route on that day so I think the pvr is 14. I missed 3178 but hope to see that when I am back there in a fortnight's time!

Thanks,i saw 12 yesterday so i missed two,3169 3170 3172 were the absentees
3170 was on 4's
Was in Llandudno for the weekend and went to Bangor on Saturday. I saw all 15 of the new Pulsars, 14 on the 5/X5 including 3178 which I missed at Llandudno in the summer and 3176 on the 4 to Holyhead. I was disappointed to see only 3 of the 5 ex-Leicester DAF DDs, 4186 and 4188 also on the 4/X4 and 4190 at the depot. No other DDs were visible. Could 4187 and 4189 have been in Holyhead outstation? I saw 5 buses on the 4/4A/X4 which were 2483, 2656, 3174, 4186 and 4188. I think it has a PVR of 6 so it is possible that one could have been the sixth bus on the route.

Incidentally it is a bit of a traipse down to the Bangor depot at the foot of the Llandygai Estate - must be a mile and a half round trip walk from the 5 bus stop at the entrance to the Estate! The dead mileage must be substantial compared to that involved when the depot was in the town. Guess that is what property prices bring about though the old depot site seemed not to be fully re-developed yet.
Where the depot is now in Bangor is a more manageable property , the previous depot was quite an old looking depot and i bet the maintainence on the associated buildings was high
