A search on buslistsontheweb.co.uk suggests that they were skipped more often than not in H, J, K and L registered batches (for example, there was no H111 GEV). But there are a fair number of exceptions too - including Warrington's 222 (K222 VTB).
Maybe prior to 1995, local vehicle licensing offices had some discretion when issuing a continuous range to a fleet operator?
I seem to remember that Liverline never had a M111XKC either
Seen reported on another group 7660 was seen parked up at Green Lane last night.

And still they continue to fall like flies....
Ex-Bootle 7659 (V659 DVU), -the distinctive one in Interurban livery and blue moquette but still with yellow roller blinds fitted- has arrived at PVS....

As reported in the Southport depot thread, Canning Road's 7654 (V654 DVU) was withdrawn from service yesterday (Tues. 14-10-14), marking the very last 'In-Service' vehicle -now withdrawn- that was originally owned by MTL.

To be truly honest im not really 100% sure, im assuming its basically a big police van for transporting police around. Its been reported on other threads on here that it is to be used on mischief night. I cant see it lasting long anyway since the tax is up in December and im doubtful that it will get renewed.
Wasn't stagecoaches 32923 a police battle bus too.
