UoM used to pay a proportion of subsidiary to allow their staff and students free travel between the main campus and UMIST campus. The 147 buses would also be used on special campus open days between Piccadilly and Brunswick Street to transport prospective students and their parents from the station.

However, for the hospital staff it only states further information is available on the hospital intranet system.
