DLA's LJ03MKF and LJ03MKG are currently VOR. MKG might return but MKF looks bound for the scrap man.
With the 147 due to pass to Stagecoach soon, the 4 Volvo B5LH Wright Gemini 2s have been re-registered to LP11YAX, YAY, YBA & YBB and at least one has been debranded.
I suspect the BU11 plates will be put on some of the newer coaches.

The boss said to us during the bus running day at the start of the year, the DLAs are due to be replaced at the end of this school year

I think this was the case when they were acquired. Apparently the 2/3?? That were converted to single door and painted white will be retained for private school work while the remaining dual door 'red' examples will be sold on.

I can understand Stagecoach preferring different reg's on these Volvo B5LHs. They may well have thought Bullock's reg's to be a load of BUllOKS.

The buses are being prepped for sale by Bullocks they won't be passing to Stagecoach. Bullocks owned the vehicles and ran it under subsidy, Stagecoach are running it commercially with no subsidy so no vehicles will pass on.
I do wonder given the situation what the relationship is like now between Stagecoach and Bullocks?

The 147 buses were acquired using a government grant for green buses so it's possible they may have to remain in Manchester depending on the terms of the government funding.
GHA Coaches finished up with a load of buses they purchased from local authorities, which got used on a mix of subsided and commercial routes.

Surprised they're not keeping them giving the DLA's are due to come off tendered school routes.
