What's the latest regarding the Sefton Running Day on Good Friday, as nothing has been posted on the site yet on what the routes are running & times ecc, other than basic details?
Its still going ahead. Times and routes are being worked out as we speak.
Spotted an MPTE liveried Leyland National in peoplesbus yard this morning presume it to be OHF858S and that its there for MOT its occupying the space where Alexander bodied ex MPTE MCW Metrobus 0062 was parked a few days ago i didnt know that 0062 was preserved until peoplesbus told me on facebook it was a surprise she looks mighty fine too is 0062 kept at NWVRT base?
Both are kept at NWVRT mate. National is a cracking bus

Good Friday 29th March 2013 Sefton Running Day
We are pleased to confirm that the event will be centred at Hawthorne Rd /Trinity Rd at Bootle Merseyside
Postcode L20 3AR.
Plenty of on street free car parking is a available nearby but some of the area is covered by parking restrictions so check carefully . We suggest Hawthorne Rd just over Balliol Road (back towards Liverpool )next to the Bootle South park as this used by local office workers during the week and doesn't cause any nuisance to local householders.
The event will run from about 11am with around 6 vehicles being in service during the day,
(expected to be Liverpool L255, MPTE/Merseybus 1032/238/0062 Ribble 2101 & a vehicle from the Merseyside Transport Trust (to be confirmed )
running between BOOTLE & Ford , Litherland , Netherton ,Old Roan the Sylvan setting at Sefton Church & Walton using routes 28B 48 49 51 52 57A 58 59 and Ribble Routes L25 & 382. Where possible buses will link at outer teminii .
We will be running some feeder link services at the start of the day from our Kirkby HQ (around 10am ), Old Roan station (1030am )and the City Centre (1030am ) futher details to be confirmed.
If travelling by Bus , services 47 52 52A 53 53A 55 60 62 81 135 157 158 162 all operate within 5 minutes walk away from the Terminus for the day ,
Bootle Oriel Rd Merseyrail Station is about 10 minutes walk away & Bootle Strand shopping centre has numerous catering establishments,
Timetables will be available for download on the website on Saturday 23rd March late afternoon so please call back then.

Thanks for that, i know its depending if the vehicle is available however any idea what the running order is in the timetable want to try & catch 0062 & 1032 or is that being confirmed later in the week?
Also whereabouts in the City Centre are services running to/from?
