At Crewe 40145 has received its repaint into British Rail Green and original number D345. The 40 is expected to feature at the East Lancashire Railway Diesel Event in Mid September. It is then booked on its first Railtour since repaint with Class mate D213 (40013) from Preston to Plymouth and back on Saturday 30th October.
LSL have acquired 20302, 20305, 57302 and 57311 from DRS.
On Friday I caught up with 20096 and 20107 bringing 37703, 20302 and 20305 down to Crewe on 0Z17 from Bo'ness. The ex DRS 20s are now in the fleet of LSL;

A4 Steam Locomotive No. 4498 (60007) "Sir Nigel Gresley" in a temporary BR Black colour scheme will star at the upcoming Severn Valley Railway Steam Gala between the 21st and 24th April. Allowing running tests to be carried out since major rebuild, once back at Crewe the Locomotive will be freshly repainted so this is the only chance to see it working in it's current guise.
57003 has joined the fleet from DRS and is being leased to GBRf for banking duties out of Liverpool Docks during the leaf fall season.
LSL have a railtour on 27 September called The St Tudno Wanderer from Wilmslow, Stockport, Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street to Llandudno using their preserved Pacer 142003. Reasonably priced at £49.
57311 has been released to Crewe from Eastleigh Works following it's heavy overhaul.
