Reduced services on Oldham depot routes every day from 5 April. The Sunday timetable will be used on Good Friday. No changes to Vantage services

81: Hourly daytime service between Manchester and Oldham. Hourly daytime service between Derker and Oldham

I Thought first has gotten rid of the Derker Journeys and they don't normally do any derker runs as the 81 anymore and it the 410/411 that does it
Quite literally bus services are now down to essential frequencies in Merseyside.

On the Wirral i think the service operated by Stagecoach is the Gold fleet of vehicles , am i right , with the exception of the 16/17.
Gillmoss 97/98 is half hourly now I believe too so PVR 1 rather than 2
Government bails out bus firms to keep routes open: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52122342

As the article mentions at the bottom they can also furlough drivers so they can get 80% pay while putting drivers on leave due to a lack of work - the same as any other business which needs to reduce it's wage bill temporarily due to COVID-19.
Furloughed drivers can not be used within 3 weeks of going on furlough though , so the bus companies have to be able to maintain service levels at the point the company put a furlough into place.

Though cant see an upturn in the next three weeks can you ?

There's rumours the lockdown will last until 31st May and even then there may be some restrictions in place for longer. Hence, bus companies can furlough drivers until 31st May and then if the lockdown gets lifted on 25th May they could recall them - as furlough can be terminated early and furloughed workers are still suppose to call in sick so that their employer is aware they can't be recalled until they recover from their illness.
