Wasn't sure were to put this, so thought this may be the best place as it is something which has happened out of the review.
Just noticed on the reprinted 17/30 timetable, it now states that neither Arriva nor Halton's tickets will be accepted on the evening/Sundays 17. Surely this makes this the least convenient 'Quality' Partnership on Merseyside for paying passengers.
If thats the case then i dont see the point of the quality partnership which was pushed together by Merseytravel who pays for the tender on evenings and sundays.
We haven't been told anything in work in regards to not accepting Arriva or Halton tickets on the evening 17. The 30 is a different matter as we only operate on the upper section of the route. It'll be pretty tough to start refusing tickets again on the 17 anyway. Should point out that our 17 and 140 journeys are omitting Burnage Avenue, Four Acre Lane and Gartons Lane at the moment due to a high number of windows being smashed.

Four acre , burnage ave and gartons lane is an area subject to a lot of criminal damage to the buses as arriva have had issues through there in the past but tends to stop after the residents and passengers find out they have to travel to the main road to catch the bus as we haven't had it happen to our 32/32A for a while now.
Before we were diverted away we had a period of two weeks with a bus every night having at least one window smashed, in some cases two buses and so on. It's not really ideal as the Merseytravel 17 is now so poorly timed you have to leave either end over 5 minutes late to maintain some realistic movement of the timetable.
Going back to the 17/30 timetable, it seems like Merseytravel have just messed up their words as just above where it says tickets aren't valid on either 17/30 journeys it makes a big point that tickets are accepted on ALL 17 journeys and just the daytime 30s.
Since sthelens change the bus network me and a few other people who used buses on nights and Sundays have never used a bus since so Merseyside have lost a lot of custom through these changes the 140 a waste of time people tell me should have the 122 on
