In tonight's other game Barry Hawkins did extremely well to come back from 1-9 down at the start of play this evening but sadly it wasn't enough to get through as in the end Marco Fu triumphed 13-11 to book his place in the semi finals
Oh what a see saw we have had at the end of 2013 start of 2014 , seems like England can not win for toffee now.

Eventually it seems that England have lost confidence in the present management of Andy Flowers and he has now stepped down from that position.

In the test matches it was a case of either playing too slow and then the scoreboard pressure came up or players just hit out and hope they miss the fielders , unfortunately for England they always seemed to find the fielders in the deep on another tour they would have missed the fielders and gone for four .

These players look so tired and now demoralised , who ever thought the idea to have back to back England v Australia series must be thinking that didnt work out at all . The Ashes series was supposed to be in 2015 but the ICC didnt want any cricket that would overshadow there prestigious ICC World 50 Over Cup.

A heads up for LFC fans!!!!

I was told today that LFC are doing tours of the Melwood Training Facility. Based on how many people wait outside, desperate to look in, it sounds like a great opportunity for liverpool fans. The details that I found are that it takes 2hr30 mins - 3 hours and includes luxury coach travel from Anfield to Melwood via an Ellisons Premier league coach, a tour around key parts of Melwood, then coach back to Anfield and a "mini tour" of the stadium and entrance to the club museum. The price for this is 35 quid for adults and 20 quid for concessions. Defo worth that in my opinion. They seem to only be running them between 27th May and 16th June.

I was told by my brother who was desperate to go! ive been on stadium tours and legends tours and they are very good. Staff are excelent there. It's under the stadiun tours and museum section of the website and you can book online!

The 14th Six Nations has started in style, with possibly the greatest opening weekends ever.

Saturday

Wales continued their recent bad form in defeat to Ireland in Cardiff 22-30. While England followed up the amazing victory over the All Blacks in December with a 38-18 Calcutta Cup victory over Scotland at Twickenham. The results set up a Triple Crown decider between England and Ireland next Sunday in Cork.

Sunday

Following up on their victory in Rome 2 years ago, Italy began their campaign in style with a 23-18 victory over France - despite the late onslaught from the French and Italy finishing the last 105 minutes down to 14 men.

It means that, after the opening weekend, only England Ireland and amazingly Italy can win the Grand Slam.

Next week:

Saturday
Wales head to Paris for a meeting with France, both teams wanting to get that first win on the board. Meanwhile, Italy will be heading north to face Scotland at Murrayfield attempting to win their second game of the tournment (which would equal their record for most wins in a single tournment, 2 back in 2007).

Sunday
The clash that could deciede not only the Triple Crown but also the Grand Slam - England head to Ireland to attempt to avenge the demons of the 2011 tournment and defeat Ireland. Ireland, however, will be riding the wave safe in the knowledge that England haven't beaten Ireland in Ireland since their Grand Slam-winning tournment in 2003, ten years ago.

At last the report is out that proves what the victims families have been saying for years which is that there was one almighty cover-up by the South Yorkshire Police, the Media (who were given lies to broadcast) and seemingly all-round incompetence on a breath-taking scale. It was good to see the Prime Minister publicly apologise in the Commons. It also seems that The Scum has come out with a grovelling apology as well. Of course, there is nothing that can bring back those who passed away, but hopefully this report will give some small comfort to those who lost loved ones on a spring day in April 1989. I can only hope that those victims families feel that their pain is slightly lessened knowing now what they suspected all along and that a little bit of justice has been done. They'll never be forgotten. You'll Never Walk Alone.
