Not sure about the others but I believe 001 is currently receiving attention. I know 005 was out today with its new Pleasure Beach advert. Most of the Flexities will probably be out from next weekend when the service goes up to every 10 minutes but if they are are low on them, the widened Balloons may well make an appearance.

RE: Blackpool Tramways
Of interest I was there on Thursday and services towards Blackpool where running about one hour late a s a lorry had been parked on the tram track in Fleetwood Town Centre and it took 30 minutes to get the lorry moved then as a result the crowds had built up so the tram ran much slower and was more than full as a result, also as a result trams bundled together, but Blackpool Transport was good in maintaining the service towards Fleetwood by putting extra units on and taking units out of service on return.

I understanda s mentioned above the service doubles to every ten minutes in the day time and increases to around every 20 minutes at night. The service has been more popular than Blackpool transport anticipated and as a result Blackpool Transport has taken an advert out in local papers appologiosing for teathing problems and giving two coupons for £1 tram rides for local residents only.

I suspect that eventually more Flexity 2's might be ordered and teh service increased, if itsd thought long term viable.
