Yesterday 677 was on 17s and I noticed a number of Enviro400s out on 320s, I know it can be normal to have 1 Enviro400 on 320 but there was at lease 3 or 4 on there with a couple on Ashton turnbacks and another on full route to Wigan.

Those Enviro400s were 4602/03/06/19.
4606 was on Ashtons with the rest on full routes to Wigan

A series of mechanical defects and vehicles needing attention was the reason for the unusual.allocations yesterday.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
2965 is on the 329 today, one of four(?) buses still at St. Helens in Cotswold livery alongside 2517, 2672 and 2971. Cotswold livery at St. Helens and as a whole will presumably be extinct soon.

St. Helens and Birkenhead do have the most priority as they have several buses still in older livery, Bootle are presumably in the middle as they haven't had a repaint in a while, whilst Green Lane and Speke are at the bottom as they are a mostly Interurban fleet. But these are my thoughts and assumptions.

There's nothing noteworthy about this allocation

I cant see 2517 being repainted I think this as well as 2508 & 2524 are here to cover for vehicles being P+P

You may have a point there, though 2524 has been at St. Helens since the end of the summer, and 2508 would've presumably have became a training vehicle by now, but it was previously at Runcorn depot from Bootle(?) before coming to St. Helens, as it had done P+P cover I think at Runcorn for a short period of time.

2524 could end up in the pool soon anyway, but I can't remember whether this was only for the Runcorn fleet as they had quite a few Cadets.
