Warrington's Own Buses
RE: Warrington's Own Buses
Do Warrington have any school/college routes that are likely to be part of franchising?

Their school and college routes are listed on bus times - number 249 onwards (ignore the three works contracts)

September service changes:
https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/se...-changes-0

It's said again that only Metro tickets will be valid on service 322, not Warrington tickets, despite part of the route not being in Merseyside.
Surely it's a mistake where it says that 22A will be withdrawn from 31st October 2026 and that will happen when the 22 changes to 322 instead.

The 22A really is continuing to operate, so for the moment we have both 322 and 22A in competition.
Worth noting that the 322 is appearing as a separate operator "Metro Network - Warrington's Own Buses" on BusTimes.
Not sure how this will work if there's interworking with other routes.

Which isn't consistent with Diamond Bus North West who now have 3 x Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Ilesbus i-City for the Cheshire West ITOD contract appearing under Bee Network - Diamond Bus North West. Although, saying that the ITOD is a demand responsive service, so it doesn't have a fixed timetable to display on bus times.

Looking at the 322 tracking today there's no interworking, but obviously it's a Sunday.

It's perhaps a bit strange if they're re-branding fairly new existing vehicles for Merseytravel Metro.
