Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
The first two Electroliners have been delivered from Wright's, and are currently at Gillmoss....unsure whether these are to be Go Ahead examples (524** numbers) or others, as there's been mentions elsewhere that Gillmoss are expecting some.....

Wasn't there mention a few years ago that the 14, 17 and 19 were to go electric - could be these.

The 58 E400EV's are for those and the 20/21 as far as I know....from the reel showing the 2 Electroliners coming off the ferry, one had a fleetnumber on the rear which ended in 437, and 52427 and 52436 have been pictured at Wright's, which would make them Go Ahead ones....and presumably Wirral bound

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
They have Stagecoach legals so I think that puts paid to this rumour that they were for Laird Street. Given how long it has taken Gillmoss to even get ready for EV work despite them knowing for a good period they were getting said electric buses, has any work actually started at Laird Street to get EV infrastructure in place? It's going to take a while either way.

For the record, both buses are 52437/39 fleet numbers. I know there was a lot of supposed talk how that meant they were for GNW but it appears that isn't the case here.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

Interesting....either wrong legals, or wrong fleetnumbers then.....Stagecoach Electroliners (all in London so far) are 82***.

As far as I am aware they are there to start the VF as GM are to get both types as has been stated elsewhere previously.
