Obviously no problems with any people today on the hus, but do we know was it a native streetlite or an ex north east example that had the engine fire today.

Obviously it will now be inspected at Laird Street to see what damage has been caused but looking at the photos what are the chances of it being fixed and returning to service as apart from the engine it doesn't look that badly damged?

4496 is showing on bustimes that it is still in Liverpool but it is not,it's back in |Birkenhead and has been for over 2 weeks.It was on 410/1 on friday.

Walking to one of my locals around 5pm, an Enviro200 was attached to a recovery vehicle trying to navigate Moreton Cross roundabout [which was fun, it was like that scene from Austin Powers were he was trying to turn a cart around ], had a look & the windowscreen of the bus was shattered, the vehicle involved looks like 2572 as that stopped tracking at Moreton Seaforth Drive.
