708, 709, 679 and 705? (I think) were all out in Northwich today.

I fully agree with what you say about the Sapphire spec , as the sapphire spec was made to increase passeger numbers but unfortunately it seems to be going the other way due to reliability issues which are not all arrivas fault.
I do think an extra bus would be welcomed greatly by the travelling passengers if it can make the service more reliable by this would give it the much needed drop back time it desperately needs to make the service work.

Even more unusual was a 130 branded Sapphire Pulsar (couldnt see which one) on the Barnton service.

Apparantly 2 38 branded Sapphire deckers were out on 130s yesterday being 4490 & 4491, if 2 were out on 130s I wonder what was out on 38s?

I recall seeing one of the 130 Pulsars on the 38 on Thursday lunchtime actually

Sounds about right! If the deckers were doing 130s then pulsars would cover the 38.

Them or solos, with regards a sapphire pulsar working in northwich it's not surprising. I think the macc fleet are under the control of winsford as I did hear macc was a sub depot of winsford hence buses regularly swopping about to & fro.

Sapphire 2933 was on the 84 Crewe - Chester yesterday Sunday. Resplendent in the sunshine with its 130 Macclesfield to Manchester branding!

Macc have still got centro 2615 on loan it would seem a long term kinda deal as it's been here around 3wks now. Today it's been substituting on the 130 again, also pulsar 2932 only appears to be doing either macc local work or the 38s now, the announcements seem to have been switched off as well.
