Usually find out late March/ early April. I think we might get some new single deckers for Stockport.

Current plans believe it or not are 22 for Middleton at least. With the Enviro400/300's leaving. Due Mid February.

Parts for the standard Enviro400's have already begun being transfered out of MN stores while engineering staff are going through the training courses for the MMC's. As usual with this stuff plans can change but currently that's how part of the latest influx of new buses fits.

Stockport based Enviro200 37152 broke down in Stockport yesterday afternoon while operating 11 and was replaced from Depot with Solo 47620 guessing the only vehicle available at the time.

Not a chance! Cast off's from all the other depots is how it'll remain there. The Middleton operation doesn't do well enough to warrant such a large fleet of new build!

4 of them are having it removed and they will be used on any service, obviously suitable for deckers

According to a friend of mine who has family contacts at Stagecoach Wigan the reasoning for the debranding of the MMCs is so that a couple of them can be used on some of the busier duties on 600s from service change at the end of the month although whether this is actually going to happen I'm not to sure.

Wright Meridian MAN FM33 is now at Middleton Depot covering for accident damaged 36101 which has gone in the opposite direction to be repaired.

Doesnt seem that Middleton are having much luck lately this is the 2nd vehicle within weeks that's been involved in an RTC.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Quick question

Much like any other Major City in the U.K., Manchester has congestion problems particularly during the morning and evening peaks

I'm needing to get from Stockport into Manchester City Centre (Piccadilly area) next week by 9am, does anyone know roughly how long the journey will take.

I need to be in Manchester by around 9am.

Would prefer to catch the 192 rather than the train

Thanks in advance
