The 329 has been diverted in Warrington down Folly Lane, Lovely Lane and Sankey Street to serve Warrington Hospital.

If it wasn’t for franchising I’d suggest a separate 329 (maybe numbered 330) that goes past Omega and joins the current 329 at Burtonwood thus avoiding the congested Winwick Road.

There was a 339 10 or more years ago that ran up Winwick Road and then along Cromwell Ave to M&S/Ikea and onto Burtonwood.

Given the change of route now, a different number might be an idea anyway. That, and actually making people aware it's running.

The timings look really tight for the new 329 route, going from Warrington to St Helens via the hospital in only 30 minutes, especially in the afternoon peak.
The first journey towards Warrington also only gets 3 minutes to go from the hospital to Warrington Interchange.
Just hope this doesn't go the way of GHA's extension to serve Warrington Hospital.

Not really the same route, but once upon a time there was also a 33 evening service running Warrington to the hospital then via Westbrook to Buttonwood and Collins Green. It was funded by the council and didn't pick up many at all.
