Watched 'The 51st State' over the recent May Day Bank Holiday (starring Samuel L Jackson and Robert Carlyle).

Can't say I was too impressed by the film (made in 2001), but I only watched it for the recognisable landmarks in Liverpool City Centre.
However, there was one particular 'landmark' that caught my eye, an Arriva B10B going the WRONG WAY up James Street!
It was actually Arriva Merseyside 6588 (N588 CKA) seen here as Carlyle swerves in front of it in his Jaguar XJ6...

Needless to say, 6588 went to Edwards Coaches (along with 6586 and 6594) all still taxed 'til the end of August (thankfully). Makes me wonder though, are they aware they've got a film star in their depot?
Talking of ex-6586, its rear window has been panelled-over, makes the Endurance body look unusual...

Ex-6617 (N617 CKA) may have a brighter future, Blythswood Motors have sold her, looks like she'll be back on the road soon. Now with a new owner....
