RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot
Had a visit to Pwllheli yesterday on a general day out but noted the outstations output on route 3 Pwllheli - Porthmadog.

2482 CX04 AXZ
2915 CX58 EXG (this was replaced at Pwllheli around 15:20 on route 3 by the arrival of 2481 CX04 AXY from Bangor with 2915 departing).

Meanwhile the previous day, a quick check on Bangor depot from a distance saw vulnerable 826 V556 ECC parked in front (side on) the dead line of stock, looks to be finished but appears complete.

I gather from a photo on Flickr in early October that the dead line at the back consists of in order left to right:

822 W394 OJC
876 Y36 TDA
2425 X425 AJA
833 X273 RFF
834 X274 RFF
907 W138 VGJ
869 X32 KON

All Darts are robbed of parts, not sure on the Cadet.

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot
The weekend after next I am visiting Llandudno and want to catch up with the DAF Lowlanders at Bangor. Are there still 5, 4186-90, on allocation? I think one or more spend the weekend in Amlwch or Holyhead or Llangefni - I think there have been previous comments on the is thread to that effect.

Could someone help me with the usual whereabouts of these five over a 'normal' weekend. Do any see service on a Saturday? Or are they confined to schools and rest up over weekends?

Any info would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Stuart - BHA

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot
Hi Stuart

Correct with the 5 allocated to Bangor. 4186 has very unusually working off the Llandudno outstation on Monday on route 13 Llandudno to Prestatyn. Could be related to it been half term and been spare and I understand there was the Conwy Food Festival P&R the weekend just gone so could have been used form Llandudno for this. I would say by your visit it will have returned to Bangor due to Bws Ysgol / Bws Coleg commitments.

Bangor wise if in use on a Saturday, check route 62 Bangor to Amlwch (one normally at Amlwch outstation) and routes 4/X4/4A Bangor to Holyhead often drop the odd one. It can be hit or miss, go one Saturday and find a good number in use and another all parked up (4 in Bangor depot and one in the outstation). Route 5/X5/5C used to drop the Volvo Olympians as the case on the other routes mentioned but since the Pulsar 2's appeared now extremely rare.

Hope of use.

Chris.
