Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
Not suprising you saw 4061 been towed its a pretty regular occurence these days!!! It used to be 4143 that broke down loads but they've sorted that & 4061 always seems fail with some fault or another.

Aye the drivers are always moaning about the DLAs, you've gotta have sympathy though for em coz they get a load of abuse & stick off passengers when something breaks down or is running late when them & the fitters at winsford are trying to make do with all the crap.

When 3615 Broke down, Was it after 6pm? I know it seems a silly question but when I last broke down on it the driver says "Always here, Always after 6"

It appears Winsford have started operating Extra Capacity on some routes, Both 2614 and 4074 BOTH worked the 07:50 29 From Winsford-Northwich, Both full! 2614 later strayed onto another 29 duty.

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
Does anybody know if the 31s now has any regular decker allocations? The 16:20 off northwich seems to occasionally produce a decker. Would make sense if they allocated the 15:50 to sandbach & 16:20 to Crewe with deckers as these always are packed out with college/school kids.

It has been agreed that we allocate 3615 to a board that arrives back at the garage earlier.
There seems to be an issue with it when the fuel drops to a certain level. Can't see them spending a lot of money on it as all the DLA's are due for replacement at the end of Feb.
It should appear on car 161 which operates 29's. This will not apply on Saturdays as we tend to use the DLA's on the 84's.

Probably why it's been on My 29 home with all the horrible Leftwich schoolchildren on it! :P It is a nice bus though, But, it is really unreliable!

Ex London DLP's I believe. Also we have been told that we should be getting some Volvo B7's from Southport to replace the Cadets on the 84 later in the year.
