RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
If the 31E is being withdrawn does this mean Leftwich will be without a bus service at the times 31E runs or is something planned to replace it |

The last bus to Northwich will be the 29 @ 1818 And to Winsford @ 1748 |

great winter shot! does anyone have any thoughts on whether the Olympians will survive the delivery of new hybrids to Bolton and Birkenhead or will cascading take them out? |

DLAs are currently covering for the Enviros as they leave Birkenhead thus should, logically, be on their merry way for cascade to other depots upon the full arrival of the hybrids. Going purely by posts on this forum, Bolton won't be dispensing of any DLAs but rather stock of the single deck variety upon the arrival of their examples. |

And a good move too in my opinion. As you highlight though CX54, there are no absolute certainties in regards to the DLA's potentially leaving the fleet going on information off the forum. Though, the remaining step entrance deckers will also be on the 'hit list' in the coming months too. Those made surplus at Birkenhead should have a number of options available to them. I have not had the opportunity to ride some of the ex Blue Bus East Lancs. Pyoneer bodied Olympians, but comparing the DLA's to the R-WVR's are like comparing chalk and cheese when all things are considered. A superior schools fleet, no doubt about it. |
