Heard some mutterings/rumours going about recently that stagecoach chester are either giving up the #84 or have lost it????

I'd be very surprised if they're throwing the towel in as it always seems busy plus a ton of students use it so surely it must earn them a decent crust. Anyone heard anything similar?

The base timetable is commercial every hour , the extra journeys to uprate the frequency are funded .

The evening and sunday service are funded .

The biggest problem with the 84 is the depot being at the Chester end .

MMC’s 11101/5/6 have arrived at Chester. (105 in blue)

15596 appears to be the first one ousted now showing at Rock Ferry.

11104 is currently at chesterfield for repaint, 11107 Stockport, 11103 is awaiting rub down,
11108/09 will probably be transferred over to Preston Depot

11104 was see earlier travelling northbound on M53 repainted blue but looked to be minus logos

Ahh that will either be heading to either Rock ferry for stickers to be applied then transfer to Chester or its going straight to Chester

Very unlikely any Scanias will kept, those remaining at Rock Ferry are probably on borrowed time, Gillmoss have already stood theirs down and so will Chester very soon now the MMCs are arriving. More Electroliners will be available come September once St Helens transfers and GM loses the 10A work. A number of Enviro300s have also been stood down.

Theres a few 400MMC's awaiting transfer as well, 10817/19-29, 11108 and 11109
