Noticed a couple of ex lothian presidents running around skelmersdale on school services this morning still sporting the full livery and even destination blinds.

Lothian has a very good reputation for maintenance of its fleet so its not surprising that they have a second lease of life - especially on schools - with smaller operators. ACL have bought several over the years and the ones you saw may well be in ACL's ownership.

Was up there a couple of weeks ago for their open day. Phenonemal company. Rode a few vehicles including the refurbed ex London Volvos and a rebuilt RCL2241. Excellent. My log is posted is here http://dartslf.com/forum/showthread.php?...36&page=33
