According to the registration its states normal stopping so not sure.

Unlikely as there is no other route down the waterfront route or alternate route to get from Widnes/Airport to Gasrton/Aigburth Road

The timetable for the 79s in September is as follows -
Mon - Friday every 5 mins combined outbound as ev 20 79C and ev 20 79, ev 10 79D. Inbound 79C as 79D.
Saturdays - every 7/8 mins combined all as 79 serving Halewood except ev 30 mins 79C/inbound still alternate as 79/79D with the 79Cs as 79D from Widnes.
Eves - every 15 mins combined 79 to Halewood/79C to Widnes/Inbound all as 79D.

The last bus is also 20 mins later

4445 4457 and 4474 were on the 500 yesterday.
No sign of regulars 4444 4477 and 4478.

They're being repainted into the new standard livery. One (4444) has been done so far

The thing I find odd about the new 79C is how the frequency is every 30 minutes on Saturdays but every 20 minutes on Sundays (in the daytime).
