White LED displays seem to be the norm for new deliveries for most operators now. AFAIK, the only operator that still insists on old-style roller blinds is TfL. I wonder why? Strange.

White LEDs are generally clearer and easier to read from a distance, especially in the dark as there isn't any glare around the screen. Similar to the lack of glare you get from a white LED streetlight in comparison with an old amber light.

Does anyone know when the new X2 buses enter service at Preston? I was expecting to see one in Liverpool last night but it was one of the usual ones on there but unbranded
