The picture of The 3 Graces on the offside using the stairs panel between decks looks brilliant on 15467. Hopefully there will be some more Lancastrian orientated images on others as Stagecoach seem to brand buses on the same route with subtle differences as the 13 plate Scania/Enviros at Preston used on the Blackpool routes.

Just seen 15469 with a study of St. Georges Hall on its offside. Stagecoach are literally going to town with their brand for the X2. Be nice if some of the others depict Preston,Southport and Formby.

Some unusual allocations on the X2 today with 59/61 branded PE13LSO and PE13LSZ both in use alongside an unbranded 13 plate.

Here's a quick update with the X2 Scanias and their branding based on recent sightings:

15466 (PX58FXK) - repainted, new X2 branding with Three Graces image (Wi-Fi decals)
15467 (PX09AWV) - repainted, new X2 branding with Three Graces image
15468 (PX09AWW) - repainted, new X2 branding with St George's Hall image
15469 (PX09AWY) - repainted, new X2 branding with Southport Pier image
15470 (PX09AWZ) - repainted, not yet branded
15471 (PX09AXA) - repainted, new X2 branding (with Southport Pier image?)
15472 (PX09AXB) - not repainted
15473 (PX09AXC) - not repainted (last example with old 2X2 window decals)
15474 (PX09AXD) - not repainted

At least two (AXC and AXD) have had their seats reupholstered and look all the better for it. Really liking the catchy branding and improvements to these buses.

Also, on a possibly connected issue, I hear that Preston & Chorley (along with Gillmoss) are likely to help out with Metrolink replacement this weekend, as Hyde Road have sent between 4 and 10 Enviro400s to the Commonwealth Games. Does anyone know which type(s) Preston in particular will be providing?

The Solo's (47922/3) & at least 2 of the new Enviro200's (37127-9) for Preston were still in the yard at Rock Ferry today.

The 3 Enviro200s legals say Stagecoach Merseyside, so is it 100% that 37127/8/9 are actually for Preston? The 2 solos has stickers on it for Preston so they definately are, just wondering about the Enviro200s. Gillmoss are getting brand new buses with the departure of the 59 plate MAN Enviro300s to Chester and Rock Ferry. Just putting 2 and 2 together...

They are certainly for Preston - given Preston and Chorley depot have been on the Stagecoach Merseyside licence for a while now.

Gillmoss are down for more Enviro300s.
