An MX55 Trident was on the X2 yesterday. First time I've seen one of those on this route in a long while.

I am not sure if this is the best place to ask, but it's worth a try!
I saw a Stagecoach hybrid bus travelling up the M6 today, just north of Stoke-on-Trent.
I am not 100% sure because I only caught a glance as it whipped by in the opposite direction, but it looked to be an Enviro 200.
It was also blue all over, with about half of it light blue and half mid blue.

Does anyone know where this could have been off to?
Would much appreciate any information!

Could it be one of the Enviro300 gas buses from Sunderland?

Seen an ALX300 heading towards Crossens via the coast in Southport at about 16:00 today - didn't appear to have any passengers aboard, so I presume that it'd just finished a 2 on Lord Street late and was running dead to catch-up time.

It would have been one of Chorley's MANs heading back home after an afternoon school run.

15466 has been outshopped with new branding for the 2X2 and looks stunning. The rear end is a full mural of the Liver Building. It also advertises that it is wifi'd.

It appears the new buses mooted for this route and upgrade to Gold spec must be delayed.

Another one has been vinyled the same as 15466 but I couldn't get the fleet or reg number.

Glad to hear they are fitting the X2 Scanias with Wi-Fi at last. Always thought it was an ideal route for the facility given its length and the already high-spec nature of the buses. Looking forward to seeing and riding one of the branded examples now.

That's probably 15467 (PX09 AWV).
That's also out there today, new vinyls are photographic-type quality.
Pretty impressive, but they'd look even better on a brand new 14-plate.

I seen 15467 wearing the new branding today and noticed that there's no mention of the 2X on it. After seeing the Enviro400s with red X2 (then 2X2) branding for years, the blue branding was a bit of a surprise! Here's a photo of the branding on 15467:
