No you can use a North West Daysaver in the Wrexham/Mold/Deeside/Flint, and have been able to for years. For example you can cross the border on service 4 from Chester to Mold, However you can use it on service 26 between Mold and Wrexham which does not cross any English border. Welsh day tickets are not valid within England unless they are the Chester Plus.
