I’ve noticed something similar where the 100 has appeared on a series of stops in northern moor, but im unaware of a new /school service with that number.

The 53 has also appeared on bus stops along upper brook Street at the back of the MRI

Thirteen OmniCity 'deckers, twenty (possibly more) Enviro200s due here from Go South Coast.

Twenty OmniCitys due in total, balance of seven direct from Stephensons.

Edited, further information.

Interesting to hear that more buses are heading north from Go South Coast. especially with them being short of buses following last years expansion in Bournemouth & Southampton

From another forum, I'm assuming it's the 67 & 18 plate examples used on the m1/m2 in Bournemouth/Poole, there are 28 E400MMC's due for that area later in the year (for the m1 at least) so presumably allowing the E200MMC's to depart north....

Buses are going to be needed for the franchise operations at BN and WN. We don't know how many (if any) buses Stagecoach are "selling" into the pool, Diamond have transfered some away already and how many of Arrivas will come when their Bolton ops end in September? GNW will have to make sure they have enough buses for the 24th September and then the long task of painting them all yellow...

I believe Stagecoach are retaining all their vehicles so presumably will be mostly cascaded out (although they have won a couple of franchises for school services....). As for Arriva, the 58 plates will probably be withdrawn, and it's been hinted at that a few of the newer ones (09 plate at least) could see their days out in North Wales. The 12 plates on the 10 could replace older ones at Wythenshawe (also been hinted at) so I wouldn't expect any Arriva Bolton vehicles to stay in that area.
