701007 was brought up to Alsthom at Widnes today.

The Class 701s finally entered service on 9th January on the route between Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside. The first unit on the service was 701037.

701028/039/043 are the other units that have seen service to date.

A new depot has been built at Feltham to service the Class 730 units. It is on the site of the old marshalling yard.

A Class 455 unit number 5868 has been reliveried to blue grey in the same style as 507001.
